The arbitrary ‘rule of six’ regulation come into effect today amid fears of a second lockdown, despite very little evidence of a second wave of the virus having a significant effect. Lord Sumption recently noted that most of the lockdown, quarantine and regulatory measures have been made under the Public Health (Control of Disease) Act 1984 and not the Coronavirus Act 2020 (Source: https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2020/09/10/planet-normal-use-fear-has-brought-greatest-invasion-personal/). The legislatively redundant liberty-destroying act, introduced by Matt Hancock in March, was passed without a parliamentary vote and is approaching renewal at the end of this month. It is the most tyrannical and anti-democratic bill that has ever been put before the people. If it is extended for the full two years, there will be no legitimate reason why. It was presented to parliament on false pretences due to the fact that the government itself admitted that ‘as of 19 March 2020, COVID-19 is no longer considered to be a high consequence infectious disease (HCID) in the UK’ (Source: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/high-consequence-infectious-diseases-hcid).
It’s not about staying alert, protecting the NHS or saving lives. It never was.
Christopher J. Wilkinson
The ensuing chaos has been treated as collateral damage by a government that couldn’t care less about people’s jobs, incomes, livelihoods, families, mental health, physical wellbeing and personal interests. Our economy is on the floor because the government destroyed it. Our social lives are ruined because the government is forcing us apart. The only interests the government wishes to pursue are the government’s own. The British state is becoming more despotic with every day that passes, reintroducing local lockdown measures, breaking households apart, introducing curfews and controlling every aspect of our lives as best it can even though the death rate from COVID-19 is now nearly zero. It’s not about staying alert, protecting the NHS or saving lives. It never was. It’s about staying asleep, protecting the state and letting people die – and that was the plan right from the very beginning. Make no mistake, we are now in an all-out war to fight for our freedom and liberty. It is a war we must win, but to win, we must act now.
