Coronavirus pseudoscience slammed by independent as measures tighten

Herd immunity is science. Lockdowns and social distancing are a pseudoscience with no historical precedent. There is no proof that what we’ve been asked to do is going to work, yet millions have begged and continue to beg for the government to intensify the measures to totalitarian levels so much so that we’re on our way to a second lockdown.

I now consider complicity to be consent.

Christopher J. Wilkinson

Up until now, I’ve accepted that the measures we’ve been asked to undertake were temporary, but I am certain this is no longer the case. My line against this has now hardened significantly. I now consider complicity to be consent. If you are complying with the government’s actions by wearing a mask and keeping two metres apart, then you are part of the problem not the solution.

…the one-size-fits-all approach applied generally overlooks the crucial differences in our personal needs and requirements…

Christopher J. Wilkinson

It is perfectly understandable for the most vulnerable to self-isolate to prevent illness for their own reasons, but the one-size-fits-all approach applied generally overlooks the crucial differences in our personal needs and requirements while pushing us further away from resolving the issue through herd immunity. Those who are not vulnerable should be going about their lives as normal.

The needs of a majority should not be vanquished for the needs of a minority…

Christopher J. Wilkinson

It is the government that is preventing normality. It is the government that is preventing immunity. The needs of a majority should not be vanquished for the needs of a minority; the consequences have proven to be deadlier than the virus itself. Suicide up. Cancer up. Heart disease up. How many lives must be lost before people start saying no?
