We need to talk…

We are not being heard loudly enough. We have done well in navigating this unprecedented era of censorship, cancel culture and memory holing – but it is not over yet. Though many have awoken, too many remain asleep. Though we may not bear the names seen on news tickers, our influence is more enduring and enlightening than any celebrity. Though we cannot control the platforms, we can control the content. Though we are few, we possess many superlative qualities suited for the task ahead. We must use these strengths to our advantage. We have achieved much since 2020, but there is still a great deal more to do.

Those who still sleep attempt to make gods of themselves. Those who rule believe they are gods already. Neither are true. As such we face many issues. Bandwagons roll in ways that seek to do harm to those who support them. Laws seek to protect criminals and punish the innocent. Policy is built on the premise of lies. Those who claim they’re doing no harm by doing nothing are simply doing nothing about those who are doing harm. Communities having fractured steadily over decades have become antisocial. Religious leaders who claim their word is true embrace an untrue gospel and preach blasphemy. Media outlets create fictional stories of their own, fitting facts to pre-prepared theories. International relations are at breaking point as both indolence and ignorance strut across the world stage amid chants of war. Our leaders claim we are free, but we are so far away from freedom.

We know who our enemies are now. So now it is our time to be the enemy of our enemies. The few with the money purport to do the talking for all, but they speak only the words of darkness while we follow the path of light. Those with the means of silencing us do so, but we can be silent no more. Their methods are corrupt. Their intent is evil. Our resistance must be unrelenting. Our determination must not waiver. Our dream of liberty must never die. Even if we change the mind of a single individual in our endeavours, we are one step closer to liberating all. Now is our chance to talk. Now is our opportunity to stand up for free speech.
